Potassium Phosphonate Phytar 0.5 is a unique blend of Potassium Salt and Phosphonic Acid in highly soluble liquid form.

Applying Phytar 0.5 on plants triggers resistance mechanism which promotes natural resistance and hardening of vines and other plants against fungal diseases and especially Downy mildew, Oomycetes, Phytophthora, Root rot.

SPECIAL FEATURES:

• Phytar 0.5 has systemic effect against fungal diseases, in particular against downy mildew.
• It is absorbed by plants and incorporated into cells as phosphate ions (H₂PO₃^–) which have direct fungitoxic effects on certain plant pathogens.
• Phytar 0.5 has the unique property of ambi mobility and movement in both Xylem &Phloem.
• When applied by Foliar Spray, Phytar 0.5 is absorbed immediately by plants and distributed uniformly over many sites within the plant providing fast results.
• Its mode of action does not involve killing the fungus directly, rather it involves a stimulation of the plant’s natural chemical and physical defenses against disease.

0.5 gram per litre water for foliar application.
